Home Watch USA provides professional home-watch and property inspection services throughout the Greater Rochester, NY region. Our goal is to help property owners monitor and maintain their homes while away through routine visual inspections and communication.
By accessing our website or hiring us for services, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Scope of Services
Home Watch USA performs visual inspections of homes and properties.
We do not provide licensed home inspections, contracting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or structural evaluations.
Our services are limited to reporting observable issues such as leaks, pest activity, storm damage, or other visible concerns at the time of our visit. If we observe a potential problem, we will notify you and follow your instructions on how to proceed.
All service specifics, visit frequency, and responsibilities are defined in the individual Service Agreement between you (the client) and Home Watch USA.
3. Scheduling and Access
Clients are responsible for ensuring we have safe and reliable access to the property during scheduled visits (keys, codes, gate access, etc.).
If we are unable to access the property as planned, the visit may be rescheduled or billed as a missed appointment.
4. Payment and Billing
Payment terms, visit fees, and billing frequency are outlined in your Service Agreement or invoice.
Accepted payment methods include cash, check, or approved digital payment options.
Late or declined payments may result in suspension of services until the account is brought current.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel or pause services with reasonable notice (typically 7 days) before the next scheduled visit.
Refunds, if applicable, are determined on a case-by-case basis for pre-paid unused visits.
6. Liability
While Home Watch USA takes all reasonable precautions and exercises professional care, we cannot guarantee the prevention of all loss or damage to property.
We are not responsible for:

Damage caused by events outside our control (e.g., storms, power outages, flooding, vandalism, or break-ins).

Hidden issues not visible during routine visual inspections.

Damage occurring between scheduled visits.
Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the cost of the most recent service visit.
7. Insurance and Bonding
Home Watch USA is fully insured and bonded. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
Our coverage is designed to protect both our clients and our staff during service visits.
8. Client Responsibilities
To ensure effective service, clients agree to:
